New Music: SWV Join Chris Brown On “She Ain’t You” Remix

Chris Brown just upped the ante on his breezy, summer track “She Ain’t You” (as well as the expectations for his upcoming BET Award performance) with a little help from the women who, in part, inspired the song’s production. 90s R&B divas, SWV, make their triumphant return to music on the official remix to Brown’s latest hit. While Breezy’s verses about wanting to be back with his ex remain unchanged, the Sisters With Voices commence their reunion dropping the female callback on the hot summer single.
“Because when you had me, you didn’t know how to treat me, you thought my love would be right here,” lead singer, Coko, sings like nothing’s changed with her smooth, power vocals in the twenty years since the sampled “Right Here” was released. Confused by his sudden change of heart, Coko reminds a nostalgic Breezy of his current “breezy” singing, “She probably up in the street buying Louboutin with your credit card, now you begging me to come home.” While all Breezy wants is his ex, SWV can only bring themselves to conjure up the sad state of his predicament: “And now that you’ve seen the light, you want me to change my mind, because you’re sitting here like: she ain’t you.”
Should Breezy and SWV unite onstage at the BET Awards to perform this remix? Click here to check it and decide!!
